At Greyhound Rescue, they are celebrating an exciting milestone: Ten Grey Years ethically rehoming greyhounds no longer wanted by the racing industry. Ten dedicated years in which we they homed over 1000 dogs successfully; they’re now happy and thriving as beloved family pets. Greyhound Rescue is the largest non-industry affiliated greyhound rescue group in NSW. They prodominately operate across NSW and ACT, however from time to time we facilitate interstate and international adoptions. A dedicated volunteer workforce of 200+ passionate advocates of the cause and have successfully rehomed over 1000 greyhounds. Greyhound Rescue are an ethical organisation and distinguish themselves through a strict policy of not discriminating against any greyhound that needs saving. They are a no-kill shelter and will care for a dog until the right home is found. All of their adoptions are matched on a case-by-case basis to give each adoption the best chance of success. Animal welfare is at the core of our volunteer-run organisation.
