NZ Green Lipped Mussels (Joint Support Treat)
If you’ve got an older dog, an active dog, or simply want to support their joints as they age, Green Lipped Mussels are one of our favourite treats.
They’re naturally rich in omega-3s, glucosamine and chondroitin — nutrients commonly used in joint supplements to support healthy joints and mobility.
The best part? Dogs absolutely love them. Instead of powders, capsules or processed supplements, you can simply give them the whole mussel as a treat.
What makes ours different
We use human-quality Green Lipped Mussel meat from New Zealand, sustainably farmed off the coast of the Coromandel Peninsula.
They arrive frozen, then we gently dehydrate them ourselves in small batches — not something bought pre-dried in bulk and repackaged.
Green Lipped Mussels are also one of those natural products with genuine research behind their use for joint health, which is why you’ll find them in joint supplements for both dogs and humans.
We just skip the extra processing and give your dog the whole mussel.

We do our best to remove all shell during preparation, but very occasionally a small piece may remain. Simply discard it if you find one.

Some of our treats are made into a Meal Topper. If we make it, you will find it in the size variant drop down menu for each product. Meal Topper is simply just the product placed into a food processor and pulsed a few times, making it crumbly. That's it! Meal Topper is a great addition to meal times. Sprinkle 1 tsp on top of food for a great nutritional boost (especially our seafood meal toppers).
